PAVAILLER: more than a name, it’s a legacy !

1946
Monsieur Louis Pavailler, a self-taught engineer and central heating installer from Lamastre in the Ardèche, transfers his business to Valence. Patent applications :

  • Test pumps
  • Wallpaper stripping machines
  • Drawings printer

 

1958
He designs and launches the first French cyclothermic oven.

1969
Creation of an integrated sales and aftersales network.

1972
Construction of the factory at PORTES LÈS VALENCE
Launch of a range of baking machines.

1980
The BAKER PERKINS group purchases the company from the PAVAILLER family.

1987
The APV group buys out the BAKER PERKINS group.

1994
An English shareholding group buys PAVAILLER from APV.

1995
The American investment group KENMARE (owned by the SULLIVAN family) buys PAVAILLER.

1997
The company is bought out by Patrick BLAISE, in September 1997.
In 1998, Patrick BLAISE takes over the American commercial subsidiary of PAVAILLER.

2004
The company is bought out by the English industrial group AGA Food Service on 8th September 2004.

2007
The AGA Food Service group decides to sell its Business-to-Business interests (including PAVAILLER) to the Italian group ALI S.p.A.
